Pricing and Packages
Most small business websites start at $999 for a clean, professional site with 3 to 5 pages. More complex projects with custom features, e-commerce, or dashboard integrations range from $2,000 to $5,000 or more. Every project includes structured data markup, mobile optimization, and full code ownership. There are no monthly platform fees. You can see our current packages on the pricing page.
Every package includes hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with responsive design for mobile and desktop, structured data markup for search engines and AI, basic SEO setup including title tags, meta descriptions, and image alt text, and full code ownership with no recurring platform fees. Higher-tier packages include additional pages, custom features, e-commerce functionality, and priority support. Full details are on our pricing page.
Our managed hosting includes a VPS server, SSL certificate, daily backups, security monitoring, firewall configuration, and performance optimization. We handle all server maintenance and updates. Hosting starts at $150 per month. You can also choose to host your site yourself or with any provider you prefer, since you own the code and there is no platform dependency.
We offer ongoing support and updates for clients who need regular changes. Small updates like text edits, image swaps, or adding a new section are typically quick and affordable. For clients on a hosting plan, minor updates are often included. Larger changes like new pages, new features, or design overhauls are quoted separately based on scope.
How We Build Websites
A hand-coded website is built from scratch using clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There is no content management system, no plugins, and no theme dependencies. This means faster load times, better security with no plugin vulnerabilities to patch, lower ongoing costs with no hosting platform fees, and full ownership of every line of code. WordPress sites depend on themes, plugins, and regular updates to stay functional and secure.
WordPress and Wix are built for people who want to manage their own sites without writing code. That is a valid use case, but it comes with tradeoffs: slower load times, security vulnerabilities from plugins and themes, monthly platform fees, and limited control over how your site is built. Our clients want a professional site that is fast, secure, and fully theirs. Hand-coding gives us complete control over performance, structure, and search optimization in ways that template-based platforms cannot match.
Yes, completely. You own every line of code, every asset, and every configuration file. Everything is fully documented with no proprietary lock-in. If you want to take your site to another developer tomorrow, you can. There are no recurring platform fees or licenses required to keep your site running.
A typical small business website takes 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff to launch. Timeline depends on the number of pages, complexity of custom features, and how quickly content and feedback are provided. We give a specific estimate before starting any project.
Yes. We can rebuild your existing site from scratch as a hand-coded site, or redesign it while keeping the same hosting and domain setup. If you are currently on WordPress or another platform, we can migrate your content to a clean, fast, hand-coded site that you fully own. We handle the entire transition so there is no downtime.
Yes. We build custom payment flows, appointment booking systems, checkout pages, and invoicing integrations. We work with Stripe for payment processing and can integrate with other platforms depending on your needs. Everything is built into your site directly, not bolted on with a third-party widget.
SEO, Structured Data, and AI Search
Every website we build includes foundational SEO: proper heading structure, meta tags, image optimization, structured data markup, fast load times, and mobile-friendly design. For clients who want ongoing SEO work like content strategy, keyword targeting, backlink building, and monthly reporting, we offer that as a separate service. We also specialize in AI search optimization, which is a newer discipline focused on getting your business cited by AI-powered search tools.
Structured data is a block of code added to your website that tells search engines and AI systems exactly what your business is, where it operates, what services it offers, and other key details. Without it, search engines have to guess what your pages mean. With it, your business is more likely to appear in rich search results, Google's AI Overviews, and AI-generated answers from tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. We include structured data markup with every site we build.
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It is the practice of making your website and business information visible to AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity. These tools generate direct answers instead of showing a list of links, and they only cite a small number of sources per response. GEO involves structuring your content so AI systems can find it, understand it, trust it, and cite it. We build every website with GEO principles from the start. You can read our full guide on this topic in Field Notes.
AI systems pull information from well-structured websites, consistent business listings, third-party reviews, and content that directly answers specific questions. The key steps are: complete your Google Business Profile, add structured data to your website, write service pages with specific and detailed information, build FAQ content, and make sure your business information is identical across every platform you appear on. We cover this in detail in our guide: How to Make Your Small Business Visible to AI Search Engines.
Working With Us
Yes. We are based in Huntsville, Texas and serve clients throughout Walker County, The Woodlands, Conroe, the Greater Houston area, and across Texas. We also work remotely with clients anywhere in the United States. All communication, file delivery, and project management can be handled online.
Reach out by phone or email and tell us what you need. We will ask about your business, your goals for the site, and any specific features you are looking for. You will see progress along the way and have the opportunity to give feedback before anything goes live.
